Blob Wars

About

Blob Wars is a side-scrolling shoot-and-jump arcade game where you're guiding a blob soldier through hostile levels, clearing enemies while navigating platforming hazards along the way. It rewards knowing a level's layout as much as good aim, since ammo and health pickups tend to be tucked into the trickier platforming sections. Simple to pick up, but later stages stack enough enemies and jumps at once to keep you on your toes.

Controls

Arrow keys to move and jump, with a separate button or click to shoot.

Tips

• Learn a level's platforming layout before engaging enemies head-on; pickups are usually hidden in the harder-to-reach spots.
• Shoot while airborne to clear enemies below you—it avoids trading hits at ground level with something that outguns you.
