Hextris

About

Hextris is an open-source puzzle game with a devious twist on block matching: instead of moving the pieces, you spin the board. Colored bars fall from every direction toward a central hexagon that you rotate to catch them — line up three or more of the same color on a side and they vanish. The pace starts polite and turns relentless, and because the whole board is one spinning shape, your brain has to re-map the controls every half-second. Gorgeous minimal visuals, brutal late game, perfect for a five-minute break that becomes twenty.

Controls

Left/right arrow keys to rotate the hexagon. On mobile, tap the left or right side of the screen.

Tips

• Watch the whole ring, not one side — threats come from every direction.
• Keep sides even; one tall stack ends runs faster than six short ones.
• Chain combos by setting up two colors before clearing either.
